I saw my future!
When my son & I got home after football practice the electricity went off and I had a crucial webinar to attend that evening and I couldn't miss it. I had already committed to it and knew it would be of great value. I am glad I did. That webinar inspired this newsletter.
At 6:45pm I told my son, “pick what you need we are going to a cafe near our home so I can attend the webinar” and obviously if you know kids…they are up for anything out of the usual routine. We set out and we were there just in time for me to join.
And at one point the presenter asks…what does success look like for you? I have defined this before, yes, today was a bit different because I realized that at that moment with my son in that cafe was a ‘success’.Why you my ask? It’s nice to have the freedom to do things that are not as usual. Like just waking up and be like …”Let’s fly out to the Caribbean for the week.” Success doesn't have to be big grand gestures, it can start small, like taking an unexpected trip to a café.
And this is what success looks like for me;
Freedom to be wherever I want, whenever
A glass house by the beach
Raising well mannered & passionate kids
A marriage that lasts my lifetime
Never having to worry about spending money
Keeping fit and staying healthy
Impacting a million lives in my lifetime
What does success look like for you? How does it feel? feel those emotions and see your energy vibrations rise. Thats how you start attracting the good things in life. I urge you to take a moment and be brutally honest with yourself when answering that question. Let it not be what the society prescribes…Before I just wanted a well paying job, husband, 2 kids, a house and car. Boring!
